The REACT organization provided me with a prompt to develop a campaign that builds a greater sense of shared responsibility between VRUs (vehicle road users) and vehicle drivers to reduce the number of crashes involving VRUs. I created a 1080pxW x 1920pxH banner to place on an outdoor billboard.

My concepts involved the following thoughts:

- Play on the ideas of SHARING more - good questions about how do
you feel about sharing
- We’re all VRUs or Drivers at some point in the day; different sides of
the same coin; drawing parallels
- “There is life behind this car” - baby on board signs - mom, dad, dog
- Humanizing them
- Not seeing them as obstacles

My final concept pictured vehicle road users and vehicle drivers as children who are fighting, as children do, over the road. Using wit and humor, the design calls all road users to share the road because the road is NOT just mine.
